For the first time ever, Shucks Maine Lobster exhibited at the European Seafood Show, held in Brussels, Belgium April 23-25. It is the largest seafood show in the world and brings over 25,000 seafood professionals together under one roof.

We were excited to attend the show this year, and present our MSC Maine Lobster to the global market!

We're excited to be back in Maine now - and gearing up for the Maine Lobster season which will start in just a couple of weeks!

Announcing MSC Maine Lobster... to the World!

Screen Shot 2013-05-09 at 11.24.26 AM.png

We are very excited about announcing Maine Lobster's MSC Certification of Sustainability. We were so excited, that we went out to spend a day with a couple Maine Lobstermen to talk to them about the Maine Lobster industry in their everyday life. We were able to go out on the boat with Bob Baines out of Spruce Head Coop and Gerry Cushman from the Port Clyde Coop. Both captains took us out to haul some traps, catch some lobsters and talk to us about the Maine Lobster fishing industry, how it's come to be and our excitement for the future.

"Paris is always a good idea"

Chef Three in the World Series Chef Competition was an early one. I mean, quite early. At 7:30am we arrived to Chef Gilles Choukron’s restaurant, MBC, tucked onto a perfect little Parisian street just a short walk from the Arc de Triumph.

Shucks in Segovia

Day Two of the World Series Chef Competition brought us to the ancient city of Segovia, Spain. Just a short bus ride north of Madrid - and definitely worth the visit, even if you don't get to try Chef Oscar's carpaccio...
